With any luck with the logistics from Triumph I should be testing the Tiger 800XCx at the weekend.

Just looking to see if anyone fancies a bit of ride on the Saturday?

Leaving at 10am

Location - Just off Junction 34 M6
Holiday Inn Car Park Lancaster
Waterside Park, Caton Road, Lancaster,Lancashire LA1 3RA

Heading out to -

Hardknott Pass

Wrynose Pass

Maybe Corney Fell

Honister Pass

Maybe the Old Coach Road by Keswick - depends who turns up, time and if we fancy it and there hasn't been a TRO put on this one also!

My contact details -
Mobile - 07818447680 I may be on the bike and don't bluetooth when I ride, so just leave a message and I will get it when I pull over.

Well, Triumph have just been on the phone and confirmed delivery of the Tiger 800XCx - so it's playtime over the weekend :) Let's hope the weather stays bright and sunny.

There will be plenty more going on now I'm getting a shift on things - if you do find your circumstances change you have the office mobile number ;)

Ya bastard! I love those passes and its a right of passage for every bike I own to go up Hardknott (the BMW hasnt been up yet). If I wasnt going to the Adventure Travel Film Festival I would have joined you (plus there are some rally landmarks at the top of the Lakes which I need to grab).

There will be plenty of other times to get the GSA over 'the hill'. Today was great, VERY wet and slippy so could get the most with that traction control with XCx. Couldn't get over HK due to low cloud cover. Pissing down rain is fine for testing bikes and gear but not blind in a cloud with a Defender coming the other way playing thrash metal, driven by some stoned farmer!

So cut back and around to Lonsdale - this ride was for wet conditions and two up. Interesting results from the gear n bike.

Tomorrow is single crewed and dry - so different things to test out.
