Brilliant stuff mate, life has been manic here and just got back from a speed awareness course today! That's four hours I will never get back. How are the injuries holding up?

They are getting better, have been going out very weekend for the few months, each time its been a longer day out.
It was a bit wild up here at some points, but managed it over the passes (with mrs on the back too) :)
Was one hairy moment when the rear slipped on a cattle grid, it had just started to rain too, so that didnt helped!
Loved it, as did the mrs.
the woolpack seems a nice place, stop here for some food.

It's a great run over the passes and I normally stop in either the Woolpack or the Train station just further down. Does the Woolpack still do the Black pudding lunch? Yes mate, you have to ease off the power over those grids :) they can be a right bugger!

I was dead straight, min power, had passed over aload that before that one. It was the one at Wynrose passed at start (on the hill) heading up the pass to Hardknott.

Yep black pudding was on the menu, have try black down here a few times, not cooked right and not very nice, so didnt have any. When i go back upto Scotland i bring some back we me!

Ah I know that grid :D !!

Yes, the black pudding is a little raw for my taste over there. I like mine seared black and better with an egg and bacon on a bap! :woohoo: yummy

I always try and bring back some square sausage when I come back from Scotland... the shortbread I can live without. Will pick some up on the way down this month.
